This event turned out to be a little different from I imagined from the initial litrature that came my way. I was expecting to be able to meet Local Authority buyers to see what they were looking for. But then an e-mail arrived a few days before the event, saying it was more of "drop-in" session with sessions that could be attended during the day.

As it worked out, I only turned up for one session "Support available when tendering" which actually turned out to be a presentation about a web site called SCMS (Supplier and Contract Management System). This was the most useful peice of information given out that day.
